L'anMien, Mui Ne

Behaving the only way we know how at a 5 star resort in Mui Ne- Chris's surprise for me; a night in a villa with a private swimming pool!

High tea and cake delivered to the door!

Chris contemplating his bank balance the next day!

Aino looking rather sexy. We're thinking of sending this to Haagen Dazs suggesting Aino as their new poster girl!
We thought Silje was the ice cream queen until we met Linda! (5 scoops of ice cream was then followed by a banana split!!)

Advents-stund med pizza, kamskjell og rod vin.

Sa tenner vi et lys i kveld, vi tenner det for glede!
Forste sondag i advent i Vietnam
(advents-stake lagd av skjell, sjostjerne og kvister funnet pa stranda)!

First sunday of advent in Vietnam!
(With a picture of Milla in snow in the background and advent wreath made out of shells, starfish and branches found on the beach)

Hayward's pickled killers for Christmas! I'm sure it tastes lovely with your cold meat and mash on Boxing Day!
Skal det vaere en skorpion eller slange i lake til middagen?

Wine for one night, five times make love. Now that's what I call a wine!!!!! Or a pile of old codswallop (bare tull med andre ord...)

Mui Ne

Communist Father Christmas! GOD JUL!

We and the girls treated Didi and Hinh to a seafood dinner before we left Mui Ne, as thanks for letting us indulge by the pool side of a 5 star hotel and use of the Vespa!

Oops... vintage Vespa's don't have petrol gauge, luckily you're never far from someone selling petrol in Vietnam!

Didi and Chris outside our room at the hotel in Mui Ne before a night out.

Running repairs to our vintage Vespa

The only time the scooter let us down was while driving back from the beach and the back wheel rim collapsed. We rolled it into the nearest drinks and sweet shop and within 15 minutes the wheel had been changed for the sum of 30,000 dong (£1) and we were back on the road.
