Caught the train from Hanoi to the coast and the port of Haiphong. From Haiphong we caught the local slow boat to Cat Ba Island in Halong Bay. Finally after nearly 3 months we were to get some of our much desired beach action!!!
The locals used this very same ferry to ship food over to the island!
