Chinese internet police!

Hello all!
Arrived in Shanghai by overnight train this morning. Unfortunately not in the luxury of a 2-berth compartment, this time! Spent the whole evening in the restaurant cart and met a lovely Dutch couple whom we spent the evening drinking beer, eating pistachios and chatting with, before returning to our compartment and its grumpy Chinese sleepers! One of the first Chinese grunpies we've met actually- the Chinese are overall very nice, helpful and polite people!!!!

Anyways, just wanted to let you know that being in China is not easy internet-wise! There are blocks on several websites and our blog does not seem to work properly, hence no pictures recently. We'll keep trying, but just so you're aware- there may not be any more photos before Vietnam.

We'll be travelling inlands on Saturday or so, towards Guilin and Yangshou (for those of you who are interested in the details) for some rural action; village-hopping, rice-paddies, camping, mountains and some real getting lost in the countryside. We've had it with big cities and capitals now!!!

That's it for now. We're off to some bar in the French Concession district of Shanghai called 'Face Bar'!

Hadet bra!
