Cu Chi Tunnels, outside Saigon

We had quite an unbelieveable experience out in the woods, 60 or so kilometres outside Saigon. The underground tunnel system built by the Vietnamese was pretty sophisticated, with hospital rooms, kitchens, some rather nasty booby traps and extremely narrow tunnels! Today a lot of the tunnels and rooms have been dug open so you can easily get in and out and see the structure of it.

Christmas is coming to Saigon!

A friendly fellow traveller, this one with a tv and stereo amongst other things on the back of his moped!!!

Christmas (or should we say America?!) is everywhere, even in a country where 80% are Buddhist!
