Phnom Penh pics February 2010

We were invited to our Cambodian friend, Jumbo's sister's wedding on the 21st February. Obviously, we had some difficulty obtaining the appropriate clothing!

In the end, Tina, our Phonm Penh hotel receptionist came up trumps and lent us some of her brother's and sister's clothes!

Jumbo, in full wedding party gear!

Helan og Halvan

Jumbo and his sister, the bride. As the only foreigners there, we were called upon to take part in the official wedding photo shoot!

Havin' a boogie!

Went to watch some live kickboxing on Saturday! Met the winning fighter in the parking lot after the match!

Looks a little more powerful with all the gear on, eh?

In deep concentration over that e-mail being sent from our internet shed in Sala Lek Pram village!

On our way down to the village with four of the kids to send an e-mail to the children at Grange Primary, London

Short visit to Bangkok to renew Cambodian visa

Lumphini Park- a relief to see some green spaces- a luxury Cambodians are not accustomed to!

Making friends!

The Super Pussies- Linda, Aino and Hertta??? A good name for a girl band?

I sent my post cards to 'other places'!

Chris' new-found hobby- perving on Vespa's

Late-night snack!

Norwegians have many things to be proud of- one of them being their obvious presence in Bangkok's red light district!!!

Tube tokens, not tickets- quite cute!

Guarding the Royal Palace

Filling our re-entry forms to Cambodia. A little sad to leave Thailand actually...look forward to going back in April!

Tuk-tuk'ing to the hotel in Poi Pet

Visa form filling at the Thai-Cambodian border- not quite as exotic as the Vietnam-Cambodia crossing!

Chris purchasing a flight case for his 'Angkor Wat' Cambodian guitar!

The rather depressing town of Poi Pet- Cambodian border town. Had to spend the night here in order to catch a bus back home to Kampong Chnang the next morning- left the hotel room only to buy pot noodles and water!

Thai side of the border!

Poi Pet 7am

Back home! 6 annoying hours after leaving Poi Pet...
